Happy New Year!
2009 is history. We thank God for its joys and challenges, and we look forward to the blessings of the New Year. From all of us at Bense Church, here's wishing you and your family the very best of health and happiness in the coming days weeks and months.
News Update
Two of our senior members departed this life between October and December 2009. First was Brother Lewis Stevens (a.k.a.Crusoe), a long-serving elder, stewardship leader, and part-time choirister, father of one of our elders, Brother Renneth. More recently, Sister Belvatine Paul (a.k.a. Vy), who had been ailing for some time, was laid to rest. She served for many years as a deaconess and a member of the Dorcas Society at our church.
Please remember to pray for Sister Doris Jubenot ("Teacher Doy") that her faith in God will remain strong during this long period of apparently terminal illness.
